Latest food fix of note: Locanda Verde. Let me just say HOLY SHIT. Carmellini’s menu did not disappoint. The trout and scallops and duck were impeccable and the wine perfect.  We rounded the night off with a lemon tart and a glass of muscato and I must say, I was reeling.  If you are in NYC and ready for a meal that you won’t soon forget… head to the Greenwich Hotel and be prepared to be wowed.  Ask to sit in the hotel patio, which is a seclude and heavenly, and enjoy the atmosphere. If you are lucky, you will have a waitress as awesome as ours was and maybe get a glimpse of the man himself (yes, Bobby DeNiro was in attendance that evening too…)
